Following a highly successful career on the hardwood with the DeForest Norskies basketball team, Brooks Ohmen got to tie up the laces one last time before he departs for college.

On Thursday, June 25, Ohmen participated in the 2026 Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-Star Games at JustAgame Fieldhouse in the Wisconsin Dells.

DeForest senior guard Brooks Ohmen capped his high school baskeball career at the 2026 WBCA All-Star Game on Thursday, June 25, at JustAGame Fieldhouse in the Wisconsin Dells.

Ohmen was a member of “Team Royal” in the Division 2 game. Team Royal lost to Team White 113-106. Ohmen chipped in with five points, knocking down a pair of twos and a free throw, putting a final bow on his prep career with the Norskies.

Ohmen, a multi-sport athlete at DeForest, will head to UW-Oshkosh, where he will play on the track and field team next season, according to DeForest Athletics.

On the hardwood last winter, Ohmen was the heartbeat in the Norskies’ backcourt.

According to Bound Wisconsin, he led DeForest in all three major statistical categories: points (16.8 PPG), rebounds (6.8 RPG), and assists (3.7 APG). He owned a 1.75 assist-to-turnover ratio and shot at a near 50 percent clip from the field. He also averaged 1.6 steals per game.

In light of Ohmen’s success, postseason accolades followed, as he was named First Team All-Badger-Large in addition to securing a spot on the All-Defense Team.
