Cornerstone Community Center shares October 5-9 lunch menu
The DeForest center's weekly senior meal plan includes a different lunch each day and a home-delivery-only option Wednesday.
Cornerstone Community Center published its senior lunch menu for Oct. 5-9, catered by the Colonial Club.
Monday, October 5 Turkey with mashed potatoes, gravy and squash, plus a whole wheat roll, cranberry jelly and yogurt.
Tuesday, October 6 Spaghetti with marinara sauce and meatballs, served with corn, garlic bread, peaches and pudding.
Wednesday, October 7 The DeForest Family Restaurant is listed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. For home delivery only, the menu includes chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, broccoli, sourdough bread, pears and gelatin dessert.
Thursday, October 8 Prize Lunch and Bingo accompanies lasagna, green beans, a whole wheat roll, fruit medley and pudding.
Friday, October 9 Meatloaf with baby red potatoes, calico beans, whole grain bread, strawberries and cake. A chicken Caesar salad is also offered as the Friday salad option.
Reservations are requested by noon on the preceding day by calling 608-846-9469, extension 4. A meatless option is listed for weekdays.
